Your English-speaking guide collects you from your hotel and takes you to a working adinkra workshop in Jamestown or Osu. Meet the master printer who will demonstrate the traditional process — from hand-carving the stamps from calabash gourds to mixing the natural dye from boiled bark. Learn the meanings behind popular adinkra symbols like Sankofa (return and get it), Gye Nyame (except for God), and Dwennimmen (strength). Then it's your turn.
